Natural Care ASCO-SLE

What it is:

Natural care ASCO-SLE is a concentrated liquid extract of cold water brown seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum.

Natural care ASCO-SLE is a biostimulant that improves plant health, stress tolerance, growth and photosynthetic capacity. The biostimulating properties and benefits of Ascophyllum nodosum extract have been clearly demonstrated by several scientific studies.

Natural Care ASCO-SLE contains several active compounds in natural balanced proportion:

Growth regulators (cytokinins and betaines)

Short-chain carbohydrates elicitors (β-glucans, oligo-alginates)

Chelating agents (mannitol and oligo-alginates)

Natural Care ASCO-SLE is completely water soluble (no insoluble particles) and suitable for use in foliar and irrigation water applications (hydroponic, dripping). Solubility and solid content are closely related to the absorption potential of the active compounds and to product efficiency.

Ascophyllum nodosum is listed by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) for use in organic production in compliance with the USDA National Organic Program (NOP). It  is also approved for organic agriculture by Garantie Bio-Ecocert in compliance with the NOP and the Conseil des Appellations Agroalimentaires du Québec (CAAQ). It is also compliant with the rule CEE no 2092/91 modified on June 24th 1991.

Application Rates:

Turf: Dilute 30-35 ml of Natural Care ASCO-SLE in 10 L of water. Mix well to get a uniform solution. Apply at initial growth stage and every 3-4 weeks intervals at 10 L of diluted solution / 100 m2. Make additional applications after periods of stress or heavy use, to newly applied sod, and as a late season spray. Apply as a fine mist at low pressure until foliage is wet. Apply in the morning or late evening. Do not apply when rain is expected or irrigation is planned.

Fruits, vegetables & ornamentals (foliar application): Dilute Natural Care ASCO-SLE in water, mix well to get a uniform solution and apply to the foliage. Use 3 L / ha in 500-2000 L of water depending on equipment type and size of crop.

Fruits, vegetables & ornamentals (irrigation water application): Dilute Natural care ASCO-SLE in two parts of water (5 L extract / 10 L water) and mix well to get a uniform solution. Inject this pre-diluted solution into the irrigation system. Calibrate injectors and nozzles to obtain a uniform rate into irrigation water. Use 3-3,5 L of Natural Care ASCO-SLE/ ha.
